Project Overview: Steel Frame Industrial Unit for Mechanic’s Workshop

In one of our most challenging and exciting projects to date, BES Steel Buildings successfully erected a steel frame industrial unit in the midst of 90+ mph winds from Storm Dylan. This build, designed to provide a fully equipped workspace for a mechanic, stands as a testament to our expertise, adaptability, and dedication to quality.

Understanding the Customer's Needs

Following an initial consultation with our customer onboarding manager, we arranged a site visit to better understand the client’s needs and assess the locational challenges. Situated in a valley with significant exposure to high winds and harsh weather, the site presented unique demands for structural resilience and longevity.

Armed with this knowledge, we worked closely with the client to design a solution tailored to their needs. The final plan included structural bracing for increased wind loads, a robust concrete floor with a fully equipped service pit, and durable 200-micron plastic-coated cladding to protect the building from the elements.
